For thousands of children in Gaza, the school bell stopped ringing long ago. Months of conflict have forced children out of classrooms, interrupted their education, and taken away the sense of normal life every child deserves.
Today, creating safe educational spaces is no longer simply an educational need—it is an essential humanitarian response.

• Born from Resilience.

  The Wings of Hope Educational Initiative was created by a dedicated group of volunteer teachers and university graduates from Gaza who refused to let an entire generation lose its education.

  Although many of them lost their own schools and universities during the conflict, they chose to transform their knowledge into hope by providing learning opportunities for children.

  Supported by International Humanitarian Relief (IHR), the initiative currently provides safe learning spaces for 70 children between the ages of 8 and 14, combining:

  • Educational support in core subjects.
  • School bags, stationery, and learning materials.
  • Printed educational worksheets.
  • Psychosocial support and recreational activities.
  • Safe child-friendly learning spaces led by qualified local educators.

  As the initiative grows, IHR aims to improve learning facilities, expand classroom capacity, and reach many more vulnerable children across Gaza.
