Rebuilding Life : Rehabilitating Homes for Returning Families
Rebuilding Life Begins in the Classroom

Hope begins where education returns.
With families returning after years of displacement, thousands of children find schools empty, damaged, or unsafe.
Together, we can restore their classrooms — and restore their hope.

Hopeful Beginnings for Returning Families

For returning families, the first sign of recovery is a child going back to school.
But across affected areas, education infrastructure remains one of the most damaged public services.

  • In Homs, over XX schools are not able to accept students safely.

  • In Rural Damascus, more than XX children lack functioning classrooms due to structural damage.

Repairs are urgently needed so children can learn, grow, and remain in their communities.

Our goal is to restore 500 schools in priority communities where children currently have no access to education.
Our Response

We are rehabilitating schools that serve returning families, focusing on:

✔ Light structural and safety repair
✔ Classroom furniture and blackboards
✔ Water and sanitation facility restoration
✔ Play area or boundary wall improvements (where applicable)

Each rehabilitated school serves 500–800 students and includes 14 classrooms ready for learning.

Every restored classroom is a child’s future brought back to life. Help us rebuild education for returning families.
